The base of the gel polish, this is the main layer primarily intended to ensure a safe adhesion between the natural nail and the gel polish. In addition, the base performs several other important functions:
protects the nail plate from coloring pigments;
aligns the nail plate, thus hiding its defects and flaws;
strengthens the nail plate: thanks to the base, owners of thin and fragile nails can wear an artificial coating for 2-3 weeks;
with the help of a gel polish base, you can make an extension of the nail plate, for example, corners.
NOTE! One of the reasons for the appearance of separations, splits and cracks is an incorrectly selected base. The condition of each client's nail plate is different: for some it is strong, for others it is thin and soft. You cannot use the same gel polish base for absolutely all nails. It is necessary to analyze the condition of the nail plate and pay special attention to the choice of the base coating.
